Heliturn inserts provide high metal removal rates.  Part of the Sumo Tec grade line, Heliturn inserts were designed for heavy machining applications.  Heliturn inserts provide positive rake angles and very positive radial helical cutting edges. 

This combination gives Heliturn inserts substantially reduced cutting forces to facilitate higher productivity.  The CNMX and WNMX inserts in the Heliturn line were designed with a wiper configuration on the corners to produce a high surface finish.  This can save production time since a finish cut may not be needed.
